General Notes: Husband - William Bryan

He was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and reared in Easton, where he engaged in the hotel business. He was a miller by trade, and came to Beaver County in 1811, and engaged in the hotel business, his inn being the general headquarters for the officers and soldiers during the War of 1812. He erected a two-story stone building, which was still standing in 1888 in a good state of preservation, and was owned by his grandson, Capt. Henry Bryan.

He and his wife had five sons and one daughter.
