General Notes: Husband - James Brush, Jr.

He came from Ireland when a young man, first locating in Westmoreland County, PA, and afterward settling in Sandy Creek Township, Mercer County. Subsequently his parents followed him to that locality and his father purchased the farm which later became the old McCracken homestead. At a still later day, the younger man sold his farm and bought a tract of land near the old Free homestead, which remained his homestead until his death. [HMC 1909, 994]
