General Notes: Husband - William M. Henry

He received his education in the public schools of Hempfield township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Electing to follow agricultural pursuits as his father and grandfather had done, on reaching manhood, he remained on the old homestead for the space of six years, assisting in the cultivation of his ancestral acres. He then removed to the "Dr. Lomison" farm, where he remained sixteen years, and then moved to Greensburg. He then, for more than twenty-seven years, led the life of a prosperous, retired agriculturalist. In accordance with his family traditions, Mr. Henry was a Republican, taking an active interest in local and national affairs. He was a member of the First Reformed Church and of the Knights and Ladies of Honor.
