General Notes: Husband - Thomas Roy Clark


He attended the public schools of that city, preparing for college at Riverview Academy, Poughkeepsie, New York, from whence he was graduated with the class of 1900. He then entered Harvard University and was graduated from that institution, class of 1904, with the degree of S. B. He entered business life in Bradford and became one of the successful oil producers and manufacturers of that city. He served as treasurer and manager of the Lewis Run Manufacturing Company, and the Bradford and Western Pennsylvania Railroad Company; was a director of the Petroleum Products Company and the Felt Compressing Company, and was interested in other Bradford activities. He was a Republican in politics, and in 1911 was elected a member of the Bradford school board, in which he served as chairman of buildings and grounds committee. He was past master of Bradford Lodge, No. 334, Free and Accepted Masons; a member of Bradford Council, No. 43, Royal and Select Masters; Bradford Chapter, No. 260, Royal Arch Masons; Trinity Commandery, No, 58, Knights Templar; a member of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, Free and Accepted Masons, and the Bradford Lodge, No. 234, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. He was a member of the Association of Harvard Engineers, and a graduate member of the Harvard Engineering Society and the Harvard Mechanical Club; his other clubs were the Country and Bradford.
