General Notes: Husband - William Mabon

He and his wife came to America from Scotland in the year 1794, bringing with them their family of six children, five sons and one daughter.
Their home in Scotland was on the river Tweed, and when they settled in what is now West Wheatfield township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, they named a small stream running through their property Tweed run. William Mahon and his wife were laid to rest in a little cemetery near the Pennsylvania railroad, on the tract where they originally settled in West Wheatfield township.
