General Notes: Husband - George Bowman

He and his wife were natives of Adams County, Pennsylvania, who came to Antrim township, Franklin County, in 1811, and engaged in farming. They located in Greencastle in April, 1837, where they made their home until their daughter's marriage. He died when about seventy-four years of age, while she died aged eighty-two. After coming to Greencastle Mr. Bowman engaged in a feed business.
