General Notes: Husband - Adam Brown


He immigrated from Germany to America prior to the Revolution, and served as a packhorse driver in the Continental army. He located at Big Spring, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, after the war, and resided there until his death.
He came out to what he called the "Indian territory", now Butler County, and purchased a tract of 400 acres of land.
