General Notes: Husband - John Lawrence Miller


He was born in Belgium, served with General Napoleon on the invasion of Russia, was at the burning of Moscow, emigrated to America, and was here united in marriage.

He was a farmer in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, during his young manhood, but afterwards went to Somerset County and passed the remainder of his life there.
