General Notes: Husband - John Brinley


At the age of fifteen he began to learn the blacksmith's trade, which he followed until 1869, when he engaged in merchandising at Dry Run, Franklin County.
In August, 1862, he enlisted in Company G, One Hundred and Twenty-sixth Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and served until the expiration of his term of enlistment.
He was a Republican in politics, and served some time as postmaster. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
