General Notes: Husband - Samuel Boyer


He attended the subscription schools of the neighborhood, then taught several terms in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He and his wife resided in Beaver County for six years after their marriage, then he returned to Washington County, and lived on the old home place six years. They finally bought and moved onto the Higbee farm, adjoining the old homestead, where they later died.
