General Notes: Husband - Hugh Boyd


In 1823 he brought his family to America, first locating on Mingo creek, Nottingham township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, where they remained some time. Later they removed to the farm eventuallly occupied by C. M. Berry. He was a Whig in politics, and in religion a member of the Seceder Church in Ireland, and transferred his membership to the church in Washington County, after his immigration.
