General Notes: Husband - Hiram Clyde Boyd

He lived in Butler, Missouri, and Appleton City, Missouri. In 1893 he moved to Hemet, California, where he established a fruit ranch and nursery. In 1905 he moved to Corona, where also he established a nursery.
He enlisted in the Civil War in the 39th Illinois Volunteers, and was wounded in the hip, which left him a cripple for life.

He and his wife were cousins.
