General Notes: Husband - Thomas Foster


He made settlement in Georgetown, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, prior to 1800, pursuing his trade, that of wheelwright, and he was appointed to the office of justice of the peace, the first to officiate in Georgetown. For several years he was known to the traveling public as the proprietor of the Georgetown Tavern, and as a host of genial and cordial address he became known far and wide.
