General Notes: Husband - Andrew Sterling


He was probably a son of John Sterling, deceased in 1722. He came of a distinguished family, his grand-uncle being lord mayor of London. At an early date Andrew Sterling came to the province of New Jersey, locating near the city of Trenton. In 1780 he came to Fayette County, Pennsylvania, and settled in German township. He was a Whig and a Baptist.
