General Notes: Husband - Edward Foster


He came to Venango County, PA, in 1848, from Steuben County, NY, and bought a tract of three hundred acres which included, besides the tract still [1919] held in the family name, the present DeWoody farm, he having occupied the brick house which still stands on the latter place. [CAB, 864]
