General Notes: Husband - George Bowers


He was born at Pine Creek, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, and received his education in the local public schools. After his marriage he settled at Kittanning, where he followed his trade of tanner for ten years, thence moving to Manorville, Armstrong County, where he had his home for twenty-five years.
He and his wife were members of the M. E. Church, in which she was particularly active as a worker. Politically he was a Republican.
