General Notes: Husband - Andrew Douglass


He was educated in the common schools of pioneer days, learned the tanner's trade, and after his marriage located in Portersville, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and later removed to Prospect, where he owned and conducted a tannery.
He and his wife were members of the Methodist Episcopal church, and in politics, he was a Democrat.
