General Notes: Husband - John Jamison


He was a soldier in the War of 1812. He came from Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, and in 1818 settled on a farm in Venango Township, Butler County. He brought out his goods with a four-horse wagon.
The Jamison farm was first settled by William Parker, and afterward occupied by Samuel and William Stewart, from whom Jamison purchased it.
