General Notes: Husband - Philip Smith


He and his wife were born in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. There they continued to reside until 1854, when they removed to Jefferson County, locating in Beaver township, but in 1865 they went to Washington township, Jefferson County, where he followed farming for many years, but later was living retired.
He always identified with the Democratic party, and was a member of the Reformed Church.
