General Notes: Husband - Jonas Blatt

He came to Mercer County, Pennsylvania, from Snyder County, with his parents about the year 1835. They settled in French Creek Township.
He followed the trade of a carriage maker in Sandy Lake, establishing that business there in 1852, and continued until 1866. He was the first burgess of Sandy Lake, and held various offices in the place. He and his wife were members of the Lutheran Church.
He lived four years after the death of his wife.
