General Notes: Husband - Solomon Blank

Hempfield Twp, Westmoreland Co, PA

He was a shoemaker; migrated to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, in 1837. He was a member of the Lutheran church, and gave his strong support to the Democratic party.

General Notes: Wife - Catherine Whistler

from Lehigh Co, PA
She a native of Holland, who came to America in 1836. She was a sister of Whistler, the famous painter.
It would seen that either the date of birth of daughter Susan is mistaken, or she did not die in 1840, but perhaps slightly after.
