General Notes: Husband - Edmund Blanchard

He was a prominent attorney at law, and partner of Ex-Governor Curtin. He was, until the day of his death, the senior law partner of the firm of E. & E. Blanchard. He was well known through-out the state, and was largely engaged in other business interests. He was an enter-prising citizen, and perhaps no one in Bellefonte ever had the material interest of the place at heart, or contributed more in time or means to promote its welfare.
