General Notes: Husband - Thomas Elmer Blair

It is difficult to understand this man's marital history. When wedding Bertha Carner he stated that he had not been married before. When wedding Tuna Foster he stated that his previous wife had died in 1891, before his marriage to Carner.

Notes: Marriage

They were married at her parents' residence.
On their marriage license application, it states that he had not been married before. On the application for a marriage license for his second marriage, it states that his previous wife had died March 14, 1891. It seems strange that only two years after the death of his first wife he would give a death date for her so wildly inaccurate.
