General Notes: Husband - John Blair


He was reared on the family farm, and, with the exception of three years spent in mercantile business at Farmington, passed his entire life in agricultural pursuits. He was a member of the Associate Presbyterian church, in which he was a ruling elder. In politics, he was a Democrat, held various township offices, and was one of the progressive and representative farmers of his township.
