BLACKMAN George E. died Wednesday afternoon February 19, 1958. Age 72 years old. Residence Townline Road, RD 4 North East, Pa. Beloved husband of Anna Prindle Blackman and brother of Willard T. and Joseph W. Blackman, both of Buffalo, NY Friends may call at the Marks Funeral Home, 65 S. Lake St., North East, Pa. from 10 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend funeral services which will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be made in the North East Cemetery. Mrs. Anna C. Blackman, 71, RD #4, North East (PA) died at Twinbrook Nursing Home, Lawrence Park, Friday afternoon. She had been ill for the past two years and resided at the Nursing Home following her release from Hamot Hospital where she had been a patient. She was a retired school teacher. A graduate of Edinboro College, she had taught in several Greenfield Twp. schools, as well as in the North East grade school. She retired in February, 1959. She was a member of the Greenfield Baptist Church. Two brothers, William M. Prindle of Wauchula, Fla., and Leon L. Prindle, of North East, survive, as do two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Lawrence and Mrs. Nellie Weir, Both of Erie. Friends may call at the Marks Funeral Home, 65 S. Lake St., North East, from 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Douglas Stratton of the Greenfield Baptist Church officiating.
