General Notes: Husband - John Jenkins


He was born in England about the year 1609. He took passage in July, 1635, for New England in the "Defense," of London, and settled at Plymouth, Massachusetts, where he was made a freeman, January 3, 1636-37; he subsequently lived at Barnstable. He was a soldier from Plymouth in the Pequot war, 1637, and was also a soldier in the Narragansett expedition in 1645; was constable in 1644.
