General Notes: Husband - William J. McClure


At the age of sixteen years he learned the carpenter trade, and followed that in connection with farming, purchasing his farm in 1880. He served nine months in Company A, One Hundred and Sixty-ninth Pennsylvania Volunteers. He was a member of Elisha Thompson Post, G. A. R., of Sheakleyville, of the K. & L. of H., No. 1640. Politically he was a Republican.
