General Notes: Husband - John Lydick


He settled on a tract adjoining the later site of Indiana, Pennsylvania, about 1783.

He settled on the McGaughey tract at a very early day. He was driven away by the Indians three times, and the last time was gone seven years. He and his wife were natives of Ireland, who migrated to America with the Penns.
