General Notes: Husband - Samuel W. Bierer

---

He was educated in the common schools and learned the trade of cabinet-maker, which he followed for five years. He then (1859) engaged in farming, which he successfully pursued for twenty-eight years. He became a resident of Greensburg in 1884, and soon thereafter retired from farming and all other business pursuits. He was a democrat in politics, and always voted for the state and national nominees of that party.
