General Notes: Husband - James H. Berry

He was reared in Mifflin township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and worked at the tailor's trade until thirty-five years of age. He then engaged in the grocery business for a number of years. In 1859 he located in McKeesport, and in 1863 was elected justice of the peace of that town, which office he held for twenty-five years. He was burgess of McKeesport one term. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church; politically a republican.
