General Notes: Husband - Isaac Bennett


He received a practical education in the common schools of his day, after which he learned the trade of cabinet-maker with a Mr. Bartley, at West Fairfield, Pennsylvania. Shortly after his marriage he opened a shop of his own and continued the business of manufacturing furniture. Later he was engaged in the undertaking business with John Kirker. He held membership in the Presbyterian church, and was a Republican in politics.


General Notes: Wife - Margaret Brown

Johnstown, PA

She died in January, 1908, having had a limb amputated two years prior to her death.
