General Notes: Husband - John Bennet

He was married at a [Quaker?] meeting at Stourbridge, in Staffordshire. He and his brother Edward doubtless came to Pennsylvania soon after this, and John was appointed constable of Birmingham township 10th month, 1686. He settled at first on land of his father-in-law, but in 1696 purchased 500 acres adjoining on the north, the deeds for which were in possession of his great-great-grandson of the same name two hundred years later.
