Obituary:
Willis R. Bell, 83, of 313½ Hoffman Ave., a retired em­ploye of Oilwell, died at 7:40 pm Wednesday in Oil City Hospital.
He was born February 24, 1892, at Nickleville, a son of George M. and Elmira Long Bell.
He had been employed as an assemblyman at Oilwell.
Mr. Bell was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, the Loyal Order of Moose and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was a 50-year member of IOOF Lodge 589 of Oil City.
He was married to the former Shirley Shaffer, who died in 1955. He later married Zelda Elliott, who preceded him death in 1967.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Stine of Oil City; a son, Dale F. Bell of Mid­dletown; two sisters, Mrs. William (Pearl) Rogers of Oil City and Mrs. Merle (Florence) Mandaville of Hawthorne, Calif., and four grandchildren.
Friends may call after 7 pm today at the Charles A. Morrison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Thursday.
Funeral arrangements will be announced.
