General Notes: Husband - Matthew Bell

He was born at Kirk, Scotland, one of the seven places so named in that country. Before the siege of Londonderry in 1690 he emigrated to Ireland and was one of the defenders of the city during that famous period. He had two sons, Matthew and John, both founders of American families.
