Margaret Rumberger Bell, 93, of Sheldon, Conn., former­ly of Franklin, died Friday, May 6, 1994, at Hewitt Memo­rial Home in Sheldon. She had resided there for the past 10 years.
Born Jan. 9, 1901, at Bully Hill, Franklin RD 1, she was a daughter of the late George and Myrtle Graham Rumberger.
She was married in 1919 to Floyd C. Bell. Mr. and Mrs. Bell moved from Franklin to Bradford in 1934 and remained there until the early 1950s, when they returned to Franklin.
They moved back to Brad­ford in 1969, where Mr. Bell died in 1974. Mrs. Bell moved from Bradford to Connecticut in 1984.
Mrs. Bell was employed in the cafeteria department at Bradford High School.
While residents of Franklin, Mr. and Mrs. Bell were custo­dians of the First United Meth­odist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Clyde Bell of Bradford and Richard Bell of Bellefonte; three daughters, Mrs. Walter (Eleanor) Murphy of Syracuse, N.Y., Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Priest of Orange, Conn., and Mrs. Malcom (Barbara) Hona­dle of DeLand, Fla.; 12 grand­children and six great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Maud Exley of Port Arthur, Texas, Mrs. Pearl Shannon of Grove City and Mrs. Donald (Evelyn) Jolley of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by two brothers, George Rumberger and John Rumberger; and one sister, Dora Willyoung Shamp.
Funeral services were con­ducted Wednesday, May 11, in the Hollenbeck & Kayhill Fu­neral Home in Bradford.
Rev. William Culp of Brad­ford United Methodist Church officiated.
Burial followed in McKean Cemetery in Bradford.
