ELLIS BELL
Ellis Bell, 83, of RD 1, Utica, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 1975, at Spencer Hospital following a short illness.
He was born at Deckards Aug. 12, 1891, son of Philip and Lucy Cotterman Bell. He married Savilla Hollabaugh June 30, 1915. He was a retired farmer in Wayne Township and attended Canal Wesleyan Methodist Church, Canal Township. He taught Bible class at Deckards United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Marie Nahay of Cochranton; Mrs. Russell (Kathryn) Deeter of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Ila Wright of Cochranton and Mrs. High (Doris) Smith of Jackson­ville; four sons, Howard of Cochranton, Philip of Utica, Lester of Cooperstown and Russell of Cochranton; two sisters, Mrs. LaRoka Graham of Cochranton and Mrs. Elgin (Iza) Bean of Mt. Pleasant, Mich.; 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne, a brother, Alfred, and a grand­daughter, Gladys Bell Baker.
Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Ronald Dickson Funeral Home, Cochranton, where services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. John Woodward of Canal Wesleyan Church and the Rev. Darrel Harris of Deckards United Methodist Church of­ficiating. Interment will be at Peters Cemetery, Canal Township.

Mrs. Savilla Bell
Mrs. Savilla Bell, 89, widow of Ellis Bell and a former resident of the Deckards area, died Sun­day in Spencer Hospital, Mead­ville.
She was born in Deckards Sept. 1, 1894, a daughter of Charles and Kate Yarnell Holla­baugh. She was married Ellis Bell June 30, 1915 and he died Feb. 2, 1975.
She was a former member of the Deckards United Brethren Church and attended the Canal Wesleyan Methodist Church. She was graduated from Edinboro Normal School in 1912.
Surviving are four sons, How­ard and Russell Bell, both of Cochranton; Philip Bell of Utica and Lester Bell of Cooperstown; four daughters, Marie Nahay. and Ila Wright, both of Cochranton; Kathryn Deeter and Doris Burchard, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Ada Lux of Oil City; 25 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
A son, Wayne; an infant son, a granddaughter and a brother, Lester Hollabaugh, are de­ceased.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Ronald Dickson Funeral Home, Coch­ranton.
Funeral services will be con­ducted there at 11 a.m. Wednes­day with the Rev. John Wood­ward, pastor of the Canal wesleyan Church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. T. W. Com­odoll, retired minister. Inter­ment will be in Peters Ceme­tery.
