Marian P. Bell
Mrs. Marian P. Bell, 75, of Knox died at 1:30 pm Tuesday in Oil City Area Health Center, following an extended illness.
She was born May 3, 1912, in Shippenville, a daughter of Pearly A. and Blanche Mealy Smith.
She was married April 19, 1935, to Edward A. Bell, who survives.
Mrs. Bell was a member of Edenburg Presbyterian Church at Knox and the Clarion chap­ter, Order of Eastern Star.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Wil­liam E. Bell of Knox; a grand­son, William E. Bell II of Knox; a granddaughter, Nicole Bell, also of Knox; one broth­er, Gail Smith of Charlotte, N.C., and two nephews.
A sister, Betty Pullease, and a brother, Jay Smith, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Thursday at the William N. Rupert Mortuary in Knox.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday in the funeral home. Rev. Thomas E. Pros­ser, pastor of Edenburg Presby­terian Church, will officiate.
Interment will be in Knox Union Cemetery.
