Mrs. Haniwalt, 61, was native of Cranberry
OIL CITY - Mrs. Edna M. Haniwalt, 61, of Cranberry Star Route, wife of James R. Haniwalt, died at 6:30 a. m. today in the Oil City Hospital.
She was born at Cranberry Feb. 10, 1915, the daughter of John W. and Florence Elizabeth Lesher Bell.
Mrs. Haniwalt was a member of the Van United Methodist Church.
She was married July 31, 1933, to James R. Haniwalt who survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, James E. (Ed) Haniwalt and Richard W. (Pete) Haniwalt, both of Oil City; three daughters, Mrs. Laurence (Ruby) Meehan and Mrs. Richard (Patty) Dilley, both of Franklin, and Miss Pearl Haniwalt at home.
Also surviving are two brothers, Norman Bell of Van and John W. Bell of Warren, Ohio; nine sisters, Mrs. Alice Kuhns and Mrs. Leona Russell, both of Franklin, Mrs. Peg Russell of Rockland, Mrs. Dorothy Seyler of Cranberry, Mrs. Dora Meehan, Mrs. Agnes Meehan, Mrs. Ruth Amore and Mrs. Inez Webber, all of Oil City, and Mrs. Lottie Stormer of Warren, Ohio.
Also surviving are five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Haniwalt was preceded in death by a son, Donald, in 1946.
Friends may call any time after 2 p. m. Friday at the Charles A. Morrison Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Sunday in the funeral home with the Rev. Herman L. Ridley, pastor of the Van United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in the Rockland Cemetery.

OIL CITY Funeral services for Mrs. Edna M. Haniwalt, 61, of Cranberry Star Route, who died Thursday in the Oil City Hospital, were conducted at
2:30 p. m. Sunday in the Charles A. Morrison Funeral Home.
Mrs. Haniwalt was the wife of James R. Haniwalt.
The Rev. Herman Ridley, pastor of the Van United Methodist Church, officiated.
Interment was in the Rockland Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rick Gaw, Ray Szymanski, Rodney Spaulding, Theron V. Lewis, Howard Hetzler and Wayne
Hetzler.
Attending the services from a distance were Enoch Foster, Lottie and Sandy Stormer and John and Betty Bell, all of Warren, Ohio.
