General Notes: Husband - Isaac E. Blakeley

He was born on the old family homestead, in Forward township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, received a common school education, and learned the marble cutter's trade in Butler. He worked at that business thereafter, and carried on marble cutting on his farm in Adams township. Mr. Blakeley was one of the active workers in the Republican party, and gave an unswerving support to the principles and measures of that organization.
