General Notes: Husband - [Unk] Wissler

He embarked from Germany for Philadelphia with his wife about the year 1720, but on the voyage over was impressed into the naval service by a vessel of war, together with the other able-bodied men on the ship. His wife proceeded on her journey to Philadelphia, and after his term of service expired he followed her to that city, when he accidentally found her engaged in carrying two pails of milk for a farmer in Germantown. He also took service with a farmer in the same locality, and they passed the re-mainder of their lives together.
