General Notes: Husband - Col. Joseph H. Wilson


He was a graduate of Jefferson College; district attorney of Beaver County for three years; member of the house of representatives of Pennsylvania, from Beaver County, 1857-61; commissioned colonel of the 101st Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers, October 4, 1861.
He died in the Union army, near Ropers Church, Virginia, of disease contracted in the trenches before Yorktown.
