This family originated in the North of Ireland, and Mr. Wilson’s father was the first of this line to come to America from that region. He managed to escape from his country during a rebellion, bringing all his family but two daughters who were in school, and whom he never saw afterward. One son, Hugh Wilson, lived in New York, losing his life in a stone quarry explosion in the Catskill mountains.
