General Notes: Husband - Capt. William Wilkins

He was a captain in the Revolutionary Army, who was present at Crawford's Defeat in the Indian War.
He was one of the first settlers in Sewickley, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

He was the paternal uncle of Judge William Wilkins of Pittsburgh, U. S. Senator 1843-4, minister to Russia 1834-5 and secretary of war 1844-5. But it is difficult to see how this could be true given his date of birth and the date of death given by another source for Judge Wilkins' grandfather.
