General Notes: Husband - John Wilkins

He was an Indian trader [of Pennsylvania?]

He was born at his father's settlement on Chiques Creek. He was extensively engaged in the Indian trade, and took an active part against Maryland during Cresap's "boundary war." An offer of fifty pounds by the Maryland authorities for his arrest resulted in his capture and imprisonment at Annapolis for a year. His wife lived to be eighty-four, and died at the home of her son, Captain John, in Pittsburgh.
