General Notes: Husband - Harry D. West


He was educated in the public schools and at Thiel College, after which he clerked in his father's grocery store. In 1901 he purchased the drug stock belonging to C. J. Achre. He was also interested in the Greenville Coal and Ice Company and local banks, and was a director in the Conneaut Lake Agricultural Society, as well as a stockholder in the same.
In fraternal connections Mr. West is affiliated with the Masonic order, belonging to Eureka Lodge No. 290, F. & A. M.; Mound Chapter No. 212, Royal Arch Masons; Mount Calvary Commandery No. 67, Knights Templar. He was also a member of the Elks, No. 145, and was an exalted ruler. He was a member of the Odd Fellows order, Lodge No. 293. In his political views Mr. West was a supporter of the Democratic party. He was a hearty supporter of the cause of religion, especially of the Lutheran church, of which he was a member.
