General Notes: Husband - John Welsh

His father was a native of Ireland, who came to America in early manhood. He became the possessor of what was then uncleared wilderness, but which he, by dint of hard work and patient industry, turned into a fruitful farm and which was known as the old Welsh homestead near Bradenville, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.

He made his home on the old homestead place and there carried on agricultural operations during his entire life.
