General Notes: Husband - Abraham Reif Shantz

He was born in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and for some years resided in Canada. Later he moved to Harmony, Butler County, Pennsylvania, not far from Pittsburgh, and there passed the remainder of his life.

One source suggests that he and his brother Jacob were twins.

He died in 1836. [GPHAV, 362]

Sources differ when listing his children. It is difficult to determine which of the listed children were born to which mother. Much of this is the compiler's speculation.
