General Notes: Husband - John H. Walker

Sadsburg Twp

His grandfather built the first brick house in the town of Greenville, PA, but later removed to Minnesota, where he and his wife both died on the same day, of old age. He was ninety-two years old.

He was reared on a farm. During the War of the Rebellion he enlisted September, 1864, in the One Hundred and Seventh Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and served till the close of the war.
