General Notes: Husband - Daniel Ulam

He was born in eastern Pennsylvania, in 1805 moving to Westmoreland County, where he bought and farmed a large tract of land. He was a Democrat. His religious faith made him a member of the Lutheran Church, which he served faithfully and conscientiously. In 1775 he married, and his family consisted of eight children. His death occurred in 1815, his widow surviving until 1839.

Some of this information seems suspect. The dates of birth of the children do not suggest a marriage date of 1775. One wonders if information about the father and grandfather have been mixed.
