General Notes: Wife - Anaxwitte Turner

She lived with her parents until about the year 1860 when she went to live with her uncle William Patterson. Soon after this she met with a sad accident by being kicked by a horse, which fractured her leg. This confined her to her bed for twenty-one weeks and even then from some cause she was never able to walk without crutches. She bore all her sufferings with Christian fortitude and cheerfulness, a murmur or complaint never escaping her lips. About two years after this she was attacked with diphtheria and died.
